The Origin of Religious Beliefs

This hypothesis will demonstrate that religious beliefs are the result of a completely new feeling which origin can be located in the specific chronological framework of the Neolithic Revolution, and due to a specific physical cause that is the change in diet and more specifically due to the intake of cereals, giving rise to a new subtype of the species homo that we will onwards call homo sapiens cereris as opposed to homo sapiens sapiens; And that religious beliefs are unique to the post-Neolithic human being and are distinguished substantially from any previous concept of artistic or obituary manifestations hitherto considered as religious manifestations.
